ESG: Reliable Partner for Drone Defence - 2016

ESG´s modular drone defence system contributes to safety at large events with state and government leaders.

02.06. 2016

Following its successful deployment at the G7 summit in 2015 in Elmau, Germany, ESG´s modular drone defence system helped to ensure the safety of the US President Barack Obama during his visit to the Hannover Messe.
The modular drone defence system is one of the highligts of ESG´s presentation at the ILA Berlin Air Show.
Mini drones now represent a serious security risk both to major events and to safety-sensitive infrastructure and facilities such as power stations, major industrial facilities, Bundeswehr properties and criminal courts. ESG, together with leading German and European companies for radar, wireless and electronic defence measures, has developed a structured, scalable solution for the detection and defence against risks from the unauthorised use of commercial drones. The focus is on the integration of electronic detection, verification and defence systems and connecting them to a situation display and command & control tool (ESG’s TARANIS system).
