N-CORE NG Processes

N-CORE NG provides the following first level processes:

TOTAL ITEM RECORD This process performs all tasks relevant to the user's NCB Total Item Record data. This includes the automatic generation and sending of L- and K-DICs for the online NSN changes of registered users. Maintenance transactions (K-DICs) received from NAMSA will also automatically update the TIR.

MANUFACTURER This process performs all tasks relevant to the creation/update of the user's NCB NCAGE data.

CODIFICATION This process performs all tasks relevant to the codification work of the user's NCB. The codification function range of N-CORE NG contains all the functions, procedures and features developed during 10 years of practical NCB experience using the N-CORE online codification system. These functions make codification very simple and efficient. It also improves quality because input errors are avoided.

INFORMATION This process performs all tasks relevant to data searches in the NCB user database.

ADMINISTRATION This process performs all tasks relevant to NCS table updates according to ACodP-1 and the system support files (H2-, H6- file and MRD) and the maintenance of all system and organisational tables (e.g. user profile, passwords, etc.).
